Quinn is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he received a BFA in Directing. In 2015, Quinn was selected by Variety as one of the "110 Students to Watch" in the entertainment industry. At the University of Michigan, Quinn directed Into The Woods, Rent and Next to Normal. As a writer, Quinn's adaptation of Oliver Twist, entitled Twist, made its premiere at the University of Michigan in 2015. This fall, Quinn served as the Creative Assistant on the Broadway production of Dear Evan Hansen at The Music Box Theatre. The Bishops marks the first collaboration between Adam Quinn and Danny K.
